We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of an Industrial Relations Manager.

About the Role:

This is a crucial position that demands a deep understanding of industrial relations laws and practices. As an Industrial Relations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional business partnering to national organizations and People & Culture departments on all industrial relations matters.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Negotiating enterprise agreements
  • Providing trusted advice on workplace legislation and compliance (including workplace reforms)
  • Conducting market analysis and benchmarking to inform existing projects and emerging trends
  • Contributing to the development of IR capability across various groups
  • Other IR-related projects as required

You Will Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in an IR role in a large or complex organization across both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Significant experience delivering enterprise agreement products in an end-to-end capacity
  • An up-to-date understanding of existing and emerging industrial and workplace law
  • Excellent influential and communication skills at all levels (including senior leaders, union organizers, officials, lawyers, Fair Work Commission)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative and facilitative style of operating with the ability to work autonomously
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
  • Preferable experience appearing in the Fair Work Commission
