About the Role

The Industrial Registrar plays a pivotal role in maintaining fairness and equity within the NSW justice system by establishing remuneration frameworks, resolving industrial disputes, hearing and determining matters, conducting investigations and reporting on Ministerial referrals, and exercising additional functions under relevant legislation.

This frontline/in-person position requires an in-depth understanding of various types of matters filed with the IRC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all statutory functions as outlined in the Industrial Relations Act 1996 and associated legislation, including regulating industrial organisations, managing case files, conducting hearings and providing high-level legal advice, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring efficient Registry operations.
