Senior Industrial Relations Specialist

This is a key leadership role within the HR function, responsible for leading all Industrial and Employee Relations (IR/ER) matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all IR/ER matters, including EBA negotiations, representing the organisation against industrial action, Fair Work hearings, disciplinary measures, and collective and individual agreement matters.
  • Act as the key IR lead for all IR/ER cases and activities, supporting business stakeholders in management of IR/ER cases.
  • Provide timely professional and accurate advice on industrial legislation frameworks to business leaders.
  • Regularly review and update organisational policy and procedures to ensure consistent application.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Legal or similar.
  • Experience in negotiating EBAs across complex matrix structured businesses.
  • Detailed knowledge of current employment legislation, keeping up to date with emerging issues.
  • Ability to coach and guide employees through complex ER/IR processes and systems.
