This role is an excellent opportunity to leverage your commercial management expertise and passion for construction to drive business success.

We are seeking a seasoned Datacenter Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Cost Management Campus Manager to provide services for Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality results and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detailed estimation of projects based on local design documents.
  • Agreement of estimates with General Contractors (GCs) during design development and contract sum.
  • Pay application assessment and approval for GCs, equipment vendors, and project support consultants.
  • Estimation and commercial agreement of all change orders.
  • Drafting commercial details and supporting documents for funding requests.
  • Review and agreement of GC procurement of subcontract packages, including sub-contract Letters of Authorization (LOAs).
  • Commercial review of disputes that may arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying, or related field AND 5+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing estimating or commercials on major construction portfolios.
  • Proven experience in commercial management roles in the procurement of GC contracts and other construction vendors.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with datacenter program teams.
  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) full membership or equivalent.
  • Commercial knowledge of international construction practices.
