Job Title: Real Estate Finance and Database Administrator

Country Road Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Finance and Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing our Real Estate occupancy costs and lease database, as well as providing lease administration support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage month-end requirements, including general ledger reconciliations and calculations of percentage rent and occupancy caps.
  • Raise invoices and ensure payment of occupancy cap refunds.
  • Prepare annual occupancy budgets and forecast updates, and review actual vs. budget.
  • Analyse actual payments against approved budgets and instruct corrections if required.
  • Set up and maintain leases, licences, real estate proposals, and other key documents in our Lease Eagle lease database.
  • Review and interpret leases clauses, including repairs and maintenance obligations, make-good obligations, occupancy costs, etc.
  • Negotiate and settle storage licence agreements in accordance with precedent or instructions.
  • Manage the execution of legal documents, including following up landlords to ensure receipt of fully executed documentation.
Requirements:
  • Lease administration, financial, or legal background with strong numeracy skills.
  • Ability to understand a retail lease is preferred.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in lease database management preferred - Lease Eagle.
  • Strong attention to detail with outstanding planning/organisation skills.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet deadlines as required.
  • Team player and a collaborative attitude.
