About the Role:
This Executive On Premise Business Development Manager position is a key role in our Australian licensed function, responsible for building and executing business plans that drive growth and profitability across our on-premise channels. As a member of our state-based Field Sales team, you will work closely with customers and stakeholders to develop and implement tailored solutions that meet their needs and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans that align with Suntory Oceania's strategic priorities and drive growth and profitability across our on-premise channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key on-premise customers and groups, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Shopper Marketing, Brand, and Finance, to develop and execute marketing activation plans, forecasts, and trade spend optimization initiatives
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
- Champion on-premise capability within your state, driving excellence in execution and sales performance
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A proven track record in account management within the FMCG industry, particularly in the liquor sector
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks and projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Numeric and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- The ability to negotiate and influence at all levels, with a natural flair for developing and maintaining effective relationships
