About the Role

This exciting new role is located in VIC to support the existing sales team. As the VIC Robotics Portfolio Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the high-end equipment robotics portfolio. You will work closely with local field service engineers and travel regionally as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to sales objectives and provide product/technical expertise as required.
  • Work with sales specialists/account managers, instrument specialists, and commercial managers to grow sales in key product lines.
  • Actively promote applications support services.
  • Conduct instruments/software demonstrations and manage customer product evaluations for the robotic portfolio.
  • Develop applications and methods to meet customer requirements.
  • Understand competitor products and provide technical advice on competitive sales strategies.
  • Maintain positive supplier relationships, particularly with technical support channels.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting of equipment/applications as required.
  • Work with field service engineers when fault diagnosis requires review of customer applications.
  • Manage the installation of new instrumentation and customer training to ensure the instrument meets specifications.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in the relevant scientific industry.
  • A science degree or similar tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience in writing and optimising programs is essential for this role.
  • Expertise in product portfolios and relevant applications.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. The company offers a competitive package including base salary and bonus.
