About the Role

This exciting opportunity exists to join our Retail Life & Investments division as a Business Development Manager (NSW). You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with named distribution partners on a local level and for distributing Zurich Investment products and services via intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with distribution partners to promote Zurich Investment products and services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build a strong distribution network and identify new business opportunities
  • Prospect, introduce, and attract new distribution partners to Zurich
  • Promote a consistent and compelling product and service message to intermediaries
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with advisers, dealer groups, and investment professionals
  • Maintain a good understanding of the customers and/or distributors in your own portfolio, their business, and the industry

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing multiple or large distribution partners and knowledge of the NSW advice market
  • Ability to proactively pursue business opportunities and establish strong strategic relationships
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of Zurich Investment products, competitors, and how they can meet the needs of client portfolios
  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in economics, finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an adviser-facing sales role
