At Zurich Insurance Company, we're on a journey towards a brighter future. This exciting opportunity exists to join our Retail Life & Investments division as a Business Development Manager NSW.

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with named distribution partners on a local level and distributing Zurich Investment products and services via intermediaries. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will actively build the distribution network by prospecting, introducing, and attracting new distribution partners to Zurich, whilst promoting a consistent and compelling product and service messages to intermediaries.

You will enjoy building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with advisers, dealer groups, and investment professionals and maintaining a good understanding of the customers and/or distributors in your own portfolio, their business, and the industry, allowing you to surface opportunities.

  • Strong experience managing multiple or large distribution partners and knowledge of the NSW advice market
  • Ability to proactively pursue business opportunities and establish strong strategic relationships
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of Zurich Investment products, competitors, and how they can meet the needs of client portfolios
  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in economics, finance, or related field
  • 2+ Years experience in an adviser-facing sales role
