About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our Retirement Distribution team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and enhancing client outcomes in the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries to drive sales growth and manage retention.
  • Engage a panel of IFA financial advisers, providing insights on portfolio construction and Challenger's products.
  • Meet and exceed financial targets, operational measures, and growth milestones.
  • Actively share market intelligence, adviser needs, and insights to help mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong grasp of financial markets, social security, tax, and superannuation rules. You will have 5-7 years' experience in a primary sales role within financial services, with a proven track record of exceeding objectives and contributing to national initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of financial markets, target market licensees, and advisers.
  • Relationship Management: Experience in servicing existing clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, or similar CRMs.
  • Qualifications: RG146 compliant in areas including Managed Investments, Superannuation, Life Insurance, Securities, and Derivatives.
