Job Summary
Vero Insurance is seeking a skilled Event Assessor to join our team in Sydney. As an Event Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing property damage and determining claim quantum and scope under the relevant PDS.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess property damage to determine claim quantum and scope
- Work closely with builders and determine reserve within delegation levels
- Proactively communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes, and claim progress to stakeholders
- Deliver professional and brilliant service when completing on-site and desktop assessments
- Support the Client Manager to identify customer resolution strategies to minimize customer escalations
- Determine an appropriate claim fulfillment method that balances customer needs with business outcomes
- Identify customers experiencing vulnerability and take appropriate action to ensure the customer is supported
Requirements
- Industry qualifications or studying or completed ANZIF Diploma of Loss Adjusting (Desired)
- Previous assessing experience
- Proven performer in customer service roles
- Experience in compiling scope of works
