  • Manage high value group personal accident claims and assist with managing A&H referrals from Third Party Administrators (TPA).
  • Assess policy coverage, claim reserving and where possible, identify and pursue recovery opportunities.
  • Provide high levels of customer service with clear communication to insureds and brokers with a proactive approach to achieving strong results for insured.
  • Be the market face of A&H claims for BHSI and work together with customers, brokers and vendors to drive claims to timely and appropriate solutions.
  • Work closely with underwriters and actuaries to report on claim developments and trends and support the delivery of BHSI's plans, goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Claims Operations and IT teams to develop and improve systems and processes for effective claims handling.
  • Participate and execute process improvement activities in the team based on interaction and collaboration with the stakeholders.
  • Work with the underwriting team in developing new products and wordings.
  • As needed travel to customer / broker meetings, site inspections, mediations, conferences etc.
