Position Overview

We are seeking qualified Psychologists to join our dedicated team within the Persistent Pain Service. This role involves working with patients experiencing chronic non-cancer pain through various innovative programs designed to enhance their understanding and management of pain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of psychosocial elements affecting patients' pain experiences and evaluate their readiness for participation in intensive group interventions.
  • Deliver psycho-educational sessions aimed at empowering patients to take control of their pain management strategies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a psychologist or provisional psychologist.
  • Proven experience in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • For provisional psychologists, a primary or secondary supervisor must be in place.

Employment Details

This position is part-time, offering 24 hours of work per week on a permanent basis.
