About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our dynamic team in the Persistent Pain Service at Albury Wodonga Health. Our service provides comprehensive care for patients with persistent non-cancer pain, including multidisciplinary programs and virtual pain education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial factors contributing to their pain experience.
  • Develop and implement effective psycho-education programs to enable patients to improve self-management and treatment of their pain.

Requirements

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In the case of Provisional Psychologists, a primary or secondary supervisor in place.
