Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Psychologists to join our innovative team in the Persistent Pain Service. This role involves working with patients suffering from chronic non-cancer pain through various programs designed to enhance their understanding and management of pain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of psychosocial factors affecting patients' pain experiences and their readiness for intensive group therapy.
  • Deliver psycho-educational sessions aimed at empowering patients to manage their pain effectively.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a psychologist or provisional psychologist.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • For provisional psychologists, a primary or secondary supervisor must be established.

Employment Details

This is a part-time permanent position, requiring 24 hours of work per week.
