We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team in the Persistent Pain Service at Albury Wodonga Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing psychosocial factors contributing to persistent pain patients' pain experience and providing psycho-education to enable patients to improve self-management and treatment of their pain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage psychosocial factors contributing to persistent pain patients' pain experience
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve pain management and reduce pain over time
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with persistent pain
- Conduct assessments and provide psycho-education to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist/provisional psychologist
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In the case of provisional psychologists, primary or secondary supervisor in place
