Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a consultative approach to value-based selling, leveraging industry knowledge and enterprise software sales expertise to identify and qualify deals, resulting in sales opportunities.

This position is positioned within a high-growth market unit and an organization undergoing transformational growth (organic and inorganic). We are an ever-evolving business, challenging and disrupting industry standards often accepted by competitors in the global enterprise software space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and execute the Go-To-Market Strategy for nominated industries
  • Prepare, own, and maintain the Territory Plan for agreed verticals
  • Prepare Account Plans and action cards for named accounts
  • Own the end-to-end sales process, including demand generation, understanding customer needs, agreeing on a mutual evaluation process, owning the RFI/RFP process, building a business case for change, and winning business, utilising resources within a matrix organization to achieve the goal.
  • 100% Sales Account Executive responsibility includes owning annual sales targets and delivering according to quarterly budgets
  • Liaison with Sales leadership and Global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration
  • Manage and maintain complete CRM hygiene, sales cadence, administration, and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting

Your Qualifications

  • Proven industry, enterprise software sales quota-carrying sales cycle delivery across the Australian market within the Aerospace and Defense industries
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Curiosity and resilience
  • A track record of consistently meeting and over-achieving quota
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and appreciation of the sales process, including cadence, forecasting, and accurate reporting
  • Comfort working within a matrix-rich organization, building relationships, and finding support to achieve the goal.
