Customer Support Specialist | Multiple Locations

We're seeking an experienced Technical Claims Expert to join our Customer Support team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in claims assessment and management, driving business outcomes through early resolution and exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and effective communication. As a Technical Claims Expert, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of property technical complaints, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high-quality customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Early Resolution: Proactively manage complex technical claims, identifying trends and key insights to drive improvements in customer and business outcomes.
  • Training and Coaching: Identify training gaps at individual and portfolio levels, delivering feedback to stakeholders and participating in training and coaching sessions for new and existing Claims Service Consultants.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a claims assessment/management role within a complex, matrixed general insurance organization.
  • An obsessive focus on customer satisfaction, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team at a technical level, with experience in change management and prioritization.
  • ANZIIF Certificate 4 or equivalent desirable but not essential.
