At Virgin Australia, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team. As a Digital HR and Payroll Solutions Manager, you'll play a key role in championing our HR and payroll systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our business.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced professional to partner with our business, IT, and vendor stakeholders to drive improvements and resolve complex issues related to our HR and payroll systems. This includes collaborating with our Technology department to deliver small system enhancement initiatives and business solutions.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all relevant technology related to our HR division and Payroll, including Oracle EBS (HR & Payroll modules), other HR/Payroll systems, and integrations between HR & Payroll and other systems.
  • You'll work closely with our allocated divisions' leaders and teams to understand their current and future business needs, translating these into technology requirements and solutions.
  • An end-to-end understanding of how our allocated divisions use their technology is essential to ensure correct security and continuous improvement measures are achieved.
  • You'll also be responsible for proactively keeping up-to-date on relevant product changes and sharing new information with users, including impact assessments of change requests or enhancements.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or Information Systems or equivalent experience in these functions in a similar role.
  • 5+ years supporting business systems, ideally at least 2+ years supporting HR & Payroll systems.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to engage and influence all stakeholders, including managers and vendors.
  • A strong understanding of compliance and governance principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with understanding and analysing business issues and translating them into business requirements and then into system solutions.
