About the Company

Intro Recruitment Solutions is a renowned recruitment agency in South East Queensland, specialising in connecting top talent with leading organisations in the Construction industry.

We are currently working with one of the most prominent names in the sector, and they're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team in Capalaba. This is a 4-week, full-time contract with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate and timely payroll for a medium-sized workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date payroll records.
  • Administer employee benefits and deductions efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll matters.
  • Generate payroll reports for management, project teams, and Finance departments.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in processing payroll end-to-end in a weekly environment.
  • Proven expertise in handling Salary Sacrifice arrangements, Bonus Payments, Workers Compensation payments, and Government Paid Parental Leave.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A friendly customer service-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, including LSL, Workers Compensation, Superannuation, and Tax.
  • Previous exposure to the Building & Construction / Clerical Awards is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and Jobpac is beneficial.
