About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Systems Lead to join our Technology department. As the successful candidate, you'll partner with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders to drive improvements and resolve complex issues.

  • You will be responsible for all technology related to the HR division and payroll, including Oracle EBS (HR & Payroll modules), other HR/Payroll systems, integrations between HR & Payroll and other systems, and end-to-end HR & Payroll processes.
  • You will work closely with allocated divisions' leaders and teams to understand their current and future business needs, translate these into technology requirements, and implement solutions.
  • You will have an in-depth understanding of how allocated divisions use technology, ensuring correct security and continuous improvement measures are achieved.
  • You will proactively stay up-to-date on relevant product changes, share new information with users, and assess the impact of change requests or enhancements.
  • You will build and maintain positive engagement with vendors and technology providers to develop successful working relationships.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of small enhancement initiatives from understanding business needs to coordinating delivery.
  • Consulting on larger technology projects to ensure they deliver technology solutions that meet business needs.
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party support partners.
  • Overseeing outsourced support functions for Oracle EBS.
  • Ensuring compliance and governance standards are adhered to.
  • Collaborating with HR & Payroll teams to define, estimate, manage, and prioritize the ongoing roadmap for continual improvement.
  • Influencing organizational culture.
  • Planning and managing budgets appropriate to the portfolio.
What You'll Need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years supporting business systems, ideally at least 2+ years supporting HR & Payroll systems.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of compliance and governance principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and analyzing business issues and translating them into system solutions.
  • Experience supporting allocated divisions' systems in a large organization.
  • Track record of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering effective change.
  • Experience producing documents for communication to a broad audience.
