Lead Sales Enablement Expert

We are seeking an experienced Lead Sales Enablement Expert to support our Acquisition and Expansion focus. This role reports to the Director of Account Executive Enablement and contributes to the vision and implementation of our sales enablement strategy, ensuring Account Executives stay current with product innovation, selling skills, and operational processes for Acquisition and Expansion.

In this key role, you will
  • Act as a strategic consultant for your programs and constituents focused on Acquisition and Expansion selling.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of key enablement programming based on global and local needs:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive enablement strategies from ideation to content creation to delivery to metrics and measurement, including program management, communications management, and learning design.
  • Translate technical product releases, industry use cases, and company focus areas into consumable materials for Account Executives.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders/SMEs and drive collaboration on initiatives to close learning gaps. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to: Product, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, Field CTO, Data Cloud, Industry, Sales Operations, and Field Leadership.
  • Be recognized as an expert on reaching Account Executives and Industry Specialist audiences and on content that resonates with them by creating and delivering global programs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to local leaders and deliver localized programming.
  • Be accountable for measuring and improving industry knowledge and skill gaps with innovative programming for the field.
  • Provide feedback to the Onboarding team on field readiness after Onboarding.
  • Domain expertise and program delivery in areas including: Acquisition and Expansion Enablement skills (consulting, design & development, training facilitation, presentation, program management, stakeholder management, and whiteboarding); Industry Product & Industry Knowledge; Selling methodologies; Run the business skills; and Experience with Acquisition and Expansion-focused selling.
On day 1, we expect you to have
  • 10+ years of related experience in sales, sales engineering, and/or technical product marketing, enablement, and/or enterprise software in data cloud, data warehousing, data engineering, and/or data science.
  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a plus.
  • Understanding of complex technical sales cycles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Experience in learning design (e.g., Bloom taxonomy) and measurement (e.g., Kirkpatrick framework), enablement tooling (Learning Management, Content Management, Articulate/RISE), gamification, and program management across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver quality deliverables.
  • Strong consultative skills, such as conducting discovery, creating solutions to problems, and facilitating workshops or learning opportunities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-changing environment requiring strategic thinking, resourcefulness, agility, and results-oriented decision-making.
  • Ability to travel as needed and potentially support other regions as needs arise.
  • Report into and work from our office in Melbourne, for a minimum of three days per week.
