Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Shift Manager at our Dandenong distribution centre. As a Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution centre during the night shift.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Team Managers and Labour Hire staff to achieve operational KPIs, including financial, safety, and compliance metrics. You will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards, managing risk, and ensuring we meet our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing policies.
- Manage risk and develop processes to ensure the safe, smooth operation of the shift.
- Achieve operational KPIs, including financial, safety, and compliance metrics.
- Build and maintain an engaged team, promoting a positive work culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive customer-focused outcomes.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in FMCG or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making skills, using data and insights to identify and solve problems.
- Proactive leadership style, driving change and fostering continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, able to motivate and guide a diverse team.
