We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team at 31 Gilby Rd, VIC, 3149. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, your key responsibilities will involve:
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and support product development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, product testing, test plan review, and improvement change tracking
- Collaborate with the Product team to review products and engineering samples/prototypes, identifying regulatory/safety/usability issues and providing solutions
- Maintain product compliance and quality within company guidelines for electrical (inc. battery), hand tools, accessories, and combustion engine powered products
- Conduct product construction checks to ensure product performance meets substantiated claims
- Maintain compliance documentation and database
- Technical background in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical, qualified and/or relevant industry experience
- Knowledge and passion for power tools, garden tools, and home appliances highly desired
- Previous experience with product compliance and regulatory compliance from a supplier perspective highly desirable
- Solid understanding of Australian consumer law and regulatory requirements essential
Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking a challenging and rewarding career in product safety and compliance.
