The company is currently seeking a Compliance Engineer Specialist to join its team at 31 Gilby Rd, VIC, 3149. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, key duties include:
Key responsibilities involve:
• Managing and supporting product development, including advising regulatory requirements, product testing, test plan review, and improvement change tracking
• Collaborating with the Product team to review products and engineering samples/prototypes to identify regulatory/safety/usability issues and provide solutions
• Maintaining product compliance and quality within company guidelines for electrical (inc. battery), hand tools, accessories, and combustion engine-powered products
• Maintaining compliance documentation and database
• Conducting product construction checks to ensure product compliance and performance meets substantiated claims
About the Role
• Technical background, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical qualified and/or relevant industry experience
• Knowledge and passion in power tools, garden tools, and home appliances is highly desired
• Previous experience with product compliance and experience in regulatory compliance and product safety from a supplier perspective is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of Australian consumer law and regulatory requirements
Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
