About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our Consumer and Floorcare division in Mount Waverley.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet rigorous TTI standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving compliance excellence and exceeding customer expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and motivating a high-performing Compliance engineering team through exceptional leadership and coaching.
  • Demonstrating true leadership by fostering a passionate, professional, encouraging, and supportive team culture.
  • Developing and maintaining robust compliance processes that drive quality and safety.
  • Promoting effective internal and external regulatory engagement to stay up-to-date on international and domestic policies.
  • Building strong relationships with global counterparts, test labs, certifiers, and regulators to protect our business interests.
  • Providing technical support during incident investigations, product withdrawals, or recalls.
  • Identifying opportunities for existing product improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Will Bring:

  • A Technical background with Electrical or Mechanical qualification and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge and passion for power tools, garden tools, and home appliances is highly desired.
  • Previous experience with product compliance, regulation/legislations, and product safety from a supplier perspective is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of Australian consumer law and regulatory requirements.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools required for analysis and assembly.
  • Process-driven with the ability to develop, implement, and drive product engineering processes.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Solid time management and attention to detail.

Our salary package for this role is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
