We are currently seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team at 31 Gilby Rd, VIC 3149. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, your key responsibilities will involve:

· Collaborating with the Product Development team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, product testing, test plan review, and change tracking

· Working closely with the Product team to review products and engineering samples/prototypes, identifying regulatory/safety/usability issues, and providing effective solutions

· Maintaining product compliance and quality within company guidelines for electrical (inc. battery), hand tools, accessories, and combustion engine powered products

· Managing and maintaining compliance documentation and databases

· Conducting thorough product construction checks to ensure products meet regulatory standards and performance claims

About You

· Possess a technical background in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical engineering, or relevant industry experience

· Have knowledge and passion for power tools, garden tools, and home appliances

· Previous experience in product compliance and regulatory compliance/product safety from a supplier perspective is highly desirable

· Demonstrate a solid understanding of Australian consumer law and regulatory requirements

Salary Estimate: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum based on location and industry standards
