Job Overview

This full-time position requires a confident and customer-focused veterinarian with a passion for enhancing the standard of care in veterinary medicine through education and training. The successful candidate will help veterinarians provide exceptional care to pets and their families across Australia by consulting on medical standards and diagnostic protocols, providing education and support, and collaborating with the IDEXX team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with practice owners and veterinarians on medical standards and diagnostic protocols to enhance patient outcomes
  • Provide education, training, and support to veterinarians and key clients to positively influence patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the IDEXX team to enhance skills and provide technical training in diagnostic education
  • Represent IDEXX to key customers, Key Opinion Leaders, and organizations across the veterinary industry
  • Support the medical message and positioning of our products

Requirements

  • A tertiary degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc/DVM) or equivalent
  • Registered veterinarian in Australia
  • A minimum 3+ years' experience in veterinary practice is essential
  • Knowledge and passion for IDEXX products and services with effective communication skills
  • Veterinary industry or commercial experience is highly regarded
  • Experience and passion for training and education
  • Self-motivated, ability to prioritize, and work within a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to travel extensively within the designated region
