Commercial Contracts Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our team at the Buildability Group.
About the Role:
- This is a unique opportunity to work on a brand new $100m high rise commercial new build project in Sydney or other Australian states.
- You will be responsible for managing all facets of the head contract and subcontract process, from tendering to post-project completion.
- Your strong knowledge of the head contract and experience in construction projects in the commercial sector are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding and management of all contractual matters, including payment, administration, and record-keeping.
- Proficient in communicating contractual knowledge to the project team and ensuring safety compliance on site.
- Developing an understanding of project planning and programming, and training contracts administrators in administration duties and systems.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in negotiating and letting contracts across various trades.
- Strong knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards, procedures, and the competitive market.
