Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Professional to join our team, working closely with the Project Manager on bespoke fitout projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contractual details, including specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue contract change proposals and amendments.
- Respond to customer requests for proposals and prepare RFTs for potential subcontractors.
- Monitor compliance with contract requirements and ensure all conditions are satisfied.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure project targets and key milestones are achieved.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract correspondence and versions using Procore software and Cheops.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing project status, expenditures, and progress.
- Review trade compliance agreements and assist in planning equipment and resource requirements for projects.
- Evaluate and report any changes to project schedules, updating timelines accordingly.
- Conduct WHS risk assessments and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Contracts Administrator in the Australian fitout/refurb/new build construction sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software (Procore and Cheops experience preferred).
