Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at MedHealth, a national provider of occupational rehabilitation services. Our care is tailored to each individual, and we work closely with clients to identify their goals and provide the necessary psychological or physical supports to help them achieve optimal outcomes.
As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and flexibility in managing your caseload. You will be supported by a strong, collaborative team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to excellence and have access to the resources and backing of a global corporate infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Case management, including assessing client needs and developing tailored intervention plans;
- Applying your clinical knowledge and expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes for clients with work-related injuries or illnesses;
- Collaborating with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health specialists to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Providing vocational assessments and support to help clients identify suitable employment opportunities and address psychosocial barriers to employment;
- Working across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party insurance, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans' Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Assisting clients to achieve successful return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes through a range of assessment and intervention strategies.
