Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will provide support and guidance to help individuals achieve their goals and return to health and work outcomes. This may involve case management, developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs, and working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Full ASORC Membership;
  • Previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
  • Well-developed time management skills are essential for this role;
  • A current driver's license and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
