Rehabilitation Specialist Role

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team of allied health professionals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Design and implement intervention programs to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs to support individuals in achieving maximal work participation.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Confidence working independently in the community.
  • Eligibility for a Working With Childrens Check and Police Clearance.
