Security Operations Manager

Wilson Security Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our team in Sydney. This role will be responsible for managing the security operations of our clients, ensuring the highest level of security and customer satisfaction.
About the Role- This is a full-time opportunity with rotational shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security teams at various client sites, ensuring that all security protocols are followed, and providing exceptional customer service.
- You will also be responsible for conducting regular site audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
- Promptly respond to calls and emails from clients, providing immediate solutions to their security concerns.
- Conduct welfare checks and monitor CCTV footage to ensure the safety and security of clients and employees.
- Coordinate the dispatch of security personnel to client sites, ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources are available.
- Assist with after-hours rostering and cover drop shifts as needed, maintaining accurate logs and reports.
- Brief security officers on-site requirements, ensuring they are aware of all security protocols and procedures.
- Report non-conformances to management, maintaining quality service and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise security officers in the absence of the Site Manager, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage contractors, ensuring they adhere to all safety protocols and comply with company policies.
- Serve as Point-of-Contact for works commencement, access approvals, and incident resolution, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor and report on risks and hazards, taking proactive measures to mitigate any potential threats.
- Lead emergency response efforts, acting as Chief Fire Warden and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a site security controller or supervisor.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to support and step up into other roles as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Australian citizenship or hold unlimited work rights.
- Previous experience in corporate real estate contracts is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use computers and security-related systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Microsoft programs.
- Availability to work rotational shifts, including nights, days, and weekends.
- Physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods, with the ability to lift and carry heavy objects if necessary.
- Valid NSW Security License, including Monitoring Subclass.
- Crowd control endorsement is highly desirable.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
We offer a competitive salary of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a reliever allowance. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities, employee benefits, and a safe and supportive work environment.
