About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Site Supervisor to join our team at Muswellbrook site. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance of a highly visible and professional service that acts as a deterrent in the case of any potential noncompliance with Company security related policies, procedures and regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient on-site management of all security and safety aspects of the Site in accordance with the MSS Security Standing Instructions and site operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Security Staff: Supervise and manage a team of security staff to ensure the smooth operation of security services.
  • Induction and Training: Ensure new staff complete their induction and training program to meet Company standards.
  • Access Control and Badging: Manage access control and badging on site to ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders, addressing any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Meetings and Communication: Lead regular team meetings to discuss important issues and relay information to staff.
  • KPI Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security services.

Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations: Hold a valid Certificate II in Security Operations and NSW Security Licence.
  • Leadership Experience: Have at least 3 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess strong customer service skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Communication and Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate good communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.
