Casual Pool Coordinator Role

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to manage our casual workforce across our network of services. As a Casual Pool Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the casual pool, including the assignment of casual shifts and engaging agency staff as needed to maintain efficient and compliant staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the casual pool and assign casual shifts to meet operational needs.
  • Engage agency staff as needed to maintain compliant staffing levels.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare industry requirements, including staff qualifications and regulatory standards.
  • Track staff availability and qualifications to ensure timely placement of casual staff.
  • Collaborate with service leaders to maintain optimal staffing levels and report on workforce trends.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies to ensure adequate staffing when needed.

About You:

  • Experience in workforce planning, rostering, and casual/agency staff management.
  • Proficient in using workforce management portals and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and industrial relations compliance.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to provide workforce insights and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Criminal History clearance.
  • Completion of Catholic Early EdCare Safeguarding Training.
