Job Summary

As a Strategic HR Business Partner at Chandler Macleod, you will play a critical role in aligning the human resources strategy with business objectives. You will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with leadership to understand business goals and align HR strategies to support those goals.
  • HR Guidance and Coaching: Provide expert HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees on all HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.
  • HR Initiative Management: Lead and manage the implementation of key HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion efforts.
  • HR Metrics Analysis: Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts and contribute to the development of a strong organizational culture.
  • Policy Development: Work with the HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the company's goals and values.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on all people-related matters.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong background in employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
  • Leadership Partnership: Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Employment Laws: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR Software: Experience with HR software and systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills.
