
Senior Manager of Family Services

We are seeking a visionary leader to provide strategic guidance and mentorship to our multidisciplinary team.
This role will work in partnership with our leadership team to develop and implement a high-quality, client-focused service response for families in need.
About the ProgramOur program brings together diverse stakeholders from community services, Aboriginal organizations, and government agencies to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:
- Families experiencing or having experienced family violence
- Individuals who use violence
- Families requiring support with the care and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people
We focus on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care and wellbeing of their children.

- The minimum qualification for this role is a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification
- OR have a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience or have a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners
- OR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience or lived experience, and have faced barriers to educational pathways as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitioners
You will bring:
- Significant management experience within the child, youth, and family welfare sector
- A sound understanding of family and parenting issues, especially in the context of protective concerns
- Commitment to, and understanding of working with marginalized groups including Indigenous and CALD clients
- A sound understanding of the ‘Best Interests’ framework and the Child, Youth, and Family Act (2005)
- A valid and current driver’s license
