Job Role Summary:

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. Our goal is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing second-level support for various business services and IT systems to all Ahpra staff, executive, and board members. This includes resolving complex technical issues, managing service desk requests, and maintaining effective communication with customers during major incidents.

Technical Requirements:

You will be required to install, maintain, test, analyze, and resolve issues for all local and remote hardware and software, including PCs, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, printers, and peripherals. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date fleet management by tracking ICT assets, including inventory, warranty, and license information in the asset management system.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in required areas of expertise. A minimum of three years of experience in a Level 1-2 IT support role is preferred, along with thorough proficiency and proven experience working with Windows Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Exchange, M365, Microsoft Intune/SCCM, Azure VMs, Windows 10/11. ITIL certification, Azure, Microsoft 365 certifications, and PowerShell skills are highly desirable.
