Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring efficient operation of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security measures are maintained across systems
  • Provide fast and efficient response times to desktop service requests
  • Conduct installation, configuration of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated desktop support experience, strong customer service skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with IT service level requirements
  • Liaise with staff to ensure AV requests are prepared and tested in preparation for all meetings and events
  • Participation in Technology Projects

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated desktop support experience ideally gained within a professional services environment
  • Strong customer service focus with a positive and proactive approach to client service
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing an AV environment
  • Vendor certification in one or more relevant technologies
