Compensation Recovery Officer Role Overview

The key responsibility of the Compensation Recovery Officer is to work closely with planners and the compensation recovery team to evaluate data on participants who are eligible for external compensation as a result of injury or accident.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that accurate information is collected from various stakeholders, including TAC, WorkSafe, legal entities, trustees, courts, insurers, and statutory bodies. This involves validating data and compensation information, identifying trends and patterns, and providing insights to support informed decision-making.

  • Identify participants eligible for external compensation and initiate communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and information exchange
  • Collate and analyze data to identify potential areas for process improvement
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to address identified gaps or inefficiencies in current processes

This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. A background in claims handling, insurance, or a related field is highly regarded.
