Senior Claims Manager
Claims Management PositionThis senior claims management role requires a professional with extensive experience in managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in this field and be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs. This includes collaborating with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
- Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop effective Return to Work strategies
- Assist workers and employers with the claim process, providing support and ensuring timely access to required services
- Evaluate aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policies
- Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to team members
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You should also have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme and its requirements.
