Lead Freight Executive

This role is responsible for developing and executing a business strategy that drives growth, commercial success, and operational excellence in the Primary Freight function. The successful candidate will build and scale a high-performing operation, creating value for suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.


The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain business development, with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of driving business growth. They will also possess exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, as well as a visionary mindset balanced with hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business strategy to drive growth and commercial success.
  • Build and maintain a profitable customer base, achieving ambitious revenue and margin growth targets.
  • Form and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and carriers.
  • Design scalable, differentiated freight solutions that solve key pain points for suppliers.
  • Oversee end-to-end Primary Freight operations, ensuring service excellence, safety, and compliance.
  • Drive innovation and scalability through technology, automation, and data analytics.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
