Freight Strategy Leader

This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to play a pivotal part in the transformation of NSW rail and drive change for customers and communities.
Primary Responsibilities- Establish pricing methodologies, set prices, and oversee commercial arrangements for public and third-party rail operators.
- Manage and coordinate all economic regulatory and pricing accountabilities.
- Lead the management of rail access administration and contract management consistent with NSW Rail Access Undertaking requirements and individual rail operator access agreements.
Additionally, you will:
- Coordinate annual compliance reporting to IPART, gathering data, drafting submissions, and obtaining approval.
- Implement assurance, audit, and compliance for non-price access products and services by TAM Agents.
- Collaborate with Transport for NSW PIP (Freight & Transport Planning) and SPER divisions to achieve freight on rail policy objectives.
- Senior-level economic commercial experience in regulated asset delivery environments.
- Expert knowledge and application of regulatory frameworks in complex commercial organisations.
- Infrastructure pricing experience in regulated environments.
