Our organization is seeking a visionary leader to drive the future of transportation in NSW.
This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to make a lasting impact on the rail network and shape the direction of freight strategy.
The Senior Manager Freight Strategy will oversee key regulatory and pricing accountabilities, managing commercial arrangements with public and third-party rail operators.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing innovative pricing methodologies and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Managing economic regulatory and pricing accountabilities for Transport Asset Management (TAM).
- Overseeing rail access administration and contract management, including customer relations, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Leading annual compliance reporting to IPART, coordinating data gathering, drafting, and preparing submissions.
- Ensuring assurance, audit, and compliance for non-price access products and services delivered by TAM Agents.
- Collaborating with Transport for NSW teams to advance government policy objectives for freight on rail.
This hybrid-friendly role allows you to balance in-person days at your team's home base location with remote days, fostering a collaborative environment where you'll work together with enthusiasm and fun to create meaningful change within the NSW rail network.
