Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Genomics Business Development Manager to drive our clinical business development across clinical clients.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in delivering breakthrough technology solutions to enable clients to enhance patient management. The strategic product portfolio designed to deliver these solutions includes next generation sequencing, microarray, capillary electrophoresis, q PCR, and sample extraction, heavily focused on support for genomics in clinical settings with a focus on reproductive health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • BUILD strong relationships with customers across the territory through regular sales calls and a strategic partnership approach
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor and industry activity, new products/services, and other general information of interest to customers
  • Manage key sales processes, including tenders, quoting, sales funnels, forecasting, CRM, mobility, territory and account planning, account reviews, and driving excellence in process that enable the team and the customers
  • Advancing customer satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives, including driving additional assay utilization or menu expansion for existing and new customers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science and strong life science knowledge, preferably with experience in genomics
  • 3-5 years of relevant, industry-specific Business Development/Sales experience, preferably in a life science area
  • Proven understanding of the local ANZ clinical market and key customers is an advantage, along with technical understanding of NGS, Infectious Diseases, and Reproductive Health products
