Executive Culinary Specialist

Our esteemed client, a renowned Chinese restaurant in Adelaide, is seeking a highly skilled and innovative culinary expert to join their team. As a leading player in the city's dining scene, they have earned multiple American Express and Boral Energy Awards for quality and service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing menus that showcase modern and traditional Asian gourmet culinary trends, while working harmoniously with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional meals that meet service standards.
- Develop and implement menu concepts that reflect current culinary trends and showcase the restaurant's commitment to quality and innovation.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Prepare and produce food items to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish meets the restaurant's exceptional quality criteria.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to optimize profitability.
- Adhere to strict health, hygiene, and safety protocols at all times to protect the well-being of customers and staff.
- Train kitchen staff on preparation techniques, portion control, and presentation standards to ensure consistency across all dishes.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a commercial kitchen, with trade qualifications to at least an AQF Certificate III standard or equivalent.
- The ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000-$76,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits.
