About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Hotel Sales Coordinator - Event Planning Specialist to join our team at The Westin & Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane. As a key member of our Sales and Event Planning team, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination of all aspects of day-to-day activities, including reporting and administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to telephone inquiries and direct follow-up to the appropriate team member in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the maintenance of databases, ensuring account, contact, and booking profiles are updated daily and are accurate per Marriott International standards.
  • Take MICE phone enquiries, qualify leads, and distribute them to the sales team. Prepare basic catering proposals where needed.
  • Assist with MICE and Special Corporate contract administration, including preparation, invoicing, processing deposits, GDS load forms, CI/TY activities.
About You:
  • You should have previous hotel sales department experience and a relevant diploma or higher, or hold at least 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • You thrive on direct engagement with a vision to grow and develop yourself and the business.
  • You are results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
  • You possess exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • You can work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and presentation.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000-$80,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including discounts on hotel rooms, food and beverage, dry cleaning of work clothes, recognition programs, wellbeing and mindfulness programs, and an employee assistance program.
