Conference & Events Sales Coordinator - Brisbane

About the RoleWe are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Conference & Events Sales Coordinator to join our team at Rydges South Bank in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and excited about creating unforgettable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Provide daily administrative support to clients and internal teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of all hotel events.
- Email and Phone Inquiries: Handle email and phone inquiries promptly to provide timely responses to client queries.
- Event Planning: Assist with the preparation and processing of event paperwork, including Banquet Event Orders and corresponding paperwork.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless conference/event execution and coordination with F&B outlets.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records and diary management to ensure accurate tracking of events and client interactions.
- Post-Event Follow-ups: Conduct thorough post-event follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Qualifications or Studies: Hold relevant qualifications or be currently studying in Marketing, Event/Hospitality Management, Business/Sales.
- Experience in Event Coordination and/or Sales: Have experience in event coordination and/or sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong Relationship-Building Skills: Possess strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive Approach: Demonstrate a proactive approach to securing repeat business and driving sales growth.
