Desktop Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate and provide onsite assistance to end-users within our desktop computing environment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

  • Provide IT support for desktop computers, peripherals, and printers
  • Troubleshoot computer operating systems (Windows 7/8/10) and software issues
  • Install hardware and software using tools like SCCM
  • Maintain knowledge of SOE, group policies, and MS Office tools
  • Offer exceptional customer service and people skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with computer OS/peripherals troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of multiple PC operating systems (Windows 7/8/10)
  • Familiarity with deployment tools like SCCM
  • BASIC knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

In-depth knowledge of:

  • Windows OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10)
  • Laptop hardware and peripherals
  • Mobile devices

BASIC knowledge of:

  • SCCM
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

At least two of the following qualifications are required:

  • PCLaptop OEM Maintenance Certification
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification

6 months of relevant experience is preferred, but freshers and IT students are also welcome.
